The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has fined the Airgas plant in Cantonment $12,000 for a deadly explosion last year. On August 28, 2016, 32-year-old Jesse Folmar, was killed when nitrous oxide tanks exploded as he was filling a transport trailer at the plant. OSHA cited the company for failing to provide a safe workplace. The explosion destroyed the facility in Cantonment, but the company must put those safety measures in place at their Mississippi plant.
