NO CRIMESTOPPERS REWARD 2-13-17

The $21,000 reward offered by Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers for information leading to the arrest of William Boyette and Mary Rice will not be paid even though case has been resolved and Mary Rice is in custody. The search for Boyette and Rice lasted seven days, covered three states and included more than a half dozen law enforcement agencies. Donations for the reward that Santa Rosa Crime Stoppers offered climbed to $21,000 and included $15,000 from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, $5,000 from the U.S. Marshals Service, $1,000 from a private citizen. Crime Stoppers will make the reward because the tip was not called in to a Crime Stoppers organization. The people or businesses who pledged money can still reward the tipster on their own, but Crime Stoppers money will go back into the fund for future rewards.
