A toddler in Century in North Escambia County had to be airlifted to a Pensacola hospital after being attacked by a dog yesterday afternoon. It occurred in the 4600 block of Highway 4A, just north of North Century Boulevard, around 3:30pm. The two-year old girl was reportedly bitten in the abdomen by a Labrador mix. The child was transported by Santa Rosa Lifeguard EMS to the McDavid Fire Station and then flown by Life Flight helicopter to Pensacola. The investigation is on-going.
