NAS CONTROLLED BURN 2-17-17

That thick column of smoke that many people saw in the southwest part of the County yesterday afternoon was caused by a controlled burn. There will be additional burns over the next few days and a spokesperson with the Naval Air Station Pensacola Public Affairs Office said the smoke was not caused by any aircraft accidents.
