S.R. COUNTY COURTHOUSE BOMB THREAT 2-24-17

The Santa Rosa County Courthouse was evacuated just after 9:30 yesterday morning after staff received a letter containing a bomb threat. Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office court security and patrol deputies searched the facility, assisted by bomb-sniffing dogs from Eglin Air Force Base, but nothing suspicious was found. After about 4-hours people were allowed into the building again. Investigators say a suspect has been identified, but the case remains under investigation.
