SANTA ROSA COUNTY ALCOHOL SALES 2-24-17

Santa Rosa County Commissioners have passed an ordinance allowing the sale of alcohol in unincorporated sections of Santa Rosa County. Once the new ordinance is recorded in Tallahassee it will go into effect within two or three days. In November, Milton voters passed a non-binding referendum to allow alcohol sales seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Those same hours will now be used in the unincorporated areas, as well. In October, the city of Gulf Breeze amended its ordinance to restrict sales between the hours of 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. daily. Alcohol sales are allowed on Sunday. In 2015, Santa Rosa Commissioners voted to allow Navarre businesses to sell alcohol until 2:30 a.m. seven days a week to align with the hours of sale allowed on Navarre Beach.
