The Florida Highway Patrol said two people were taken to the hospital by helicopter and three others were treated for injuries after a golf cart and vehicle collided Sunday evening at Pensacola beach following a Mardi Gras celebration earlier that day. The crash happened on Via de Luna east of the beach business district at about 5:30 p.m. Two people were taken to Baptist Hospital and a third person went to Sacred Heart Hospital.
