KILLER ACCOMPLICE INDICTED 3-1-17

Mary Rice, the accomplice of serial killer Billy Boyette, will face only one trial on charges of first-degree murder of an Escambia County woman and accessory after the fact to first-degree murder of two Santa Rosa women. The 37-year-oldf Rice was indicted by an Escambia County grand jury for first-degree murder for the fatal shooting of Kayla Crocker in her Beulah home on February 6th. That same grand jury also indicted Rice for accessory after the fact for the murders of Alicia Greer and Jacqueline Moore in Milton on January 31st. The State Attorney’s Office said the state will combine both counts against Rice and prosecute her in Escambia County. She and Boyette were located at a motel in West Point, Georgia, she eventually surrendered and Boyette killed himself.
