The Walton County Sheriff’s Department said a 27-year-old man was arrested on drug charges after a 2-year-old child was found unresponsive in his car during a traffic stop. Investigators pulled over the car for having a broken windshield and found a 23-month-old child in the back seat. The driver, Joshua Huckaba, admitted he was smoking marijuana in the car. Methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe were also found. The child was taken to the hospital by EMS. Huckaba was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation is continuing.
