Two of University of Alabama students, in Florida for spring break, have been arrested in Okaloosa County on felony charges after deputies found drugs and beer on their boat. Deputies also found electronic scales, alcohol, and fake ids on board. A deputy smelled marijuana while conducting a security check on the vessel, which was docked at Norriego Point in Destin Wednesday night. 18-year-old Bradley Thomson and 19-year-old Jacob Anan, are charged with possession of controlled substances with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana THC, and possession of a fraudulent driver’s license. Two women who were also aboard were not charged. The boat was towed away.
