The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department says a Warrington Elementary School teacher has been arrested and charged with cruelty towards a child for punching a student. The incident happened on Friday, March 10th after a student said the teacher, 66-year-old Sharon Jones, punched him in the back of the head. Jones has been suspended with pay pending an investigation by the School District.
