The Pensacola Police Department say a 52-year-old Pensacola woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon for abusing a toddler. Rainna Sakry was charged after an investigation found a 14-month-old boy left in her care had evidence of bruising on his buttocks, back and legs. Officers were dispatched to a local hospital on January 11th after the child was taken there for treatment. The child has since been taken into protective custody by the Department of Children and Families. Sakry has been charged with cruelty toward a child without great bodily harm.
