Sacred Heart Medical Group is opening up two retail health clinics in Walgreen stores. The health clinics will open today at 6314 North 9th Avenue and 2237 West Nine Mile Road. Mike Burke, Director of Marketing and Communications, said the clinics’ board-certified nurse practitioners will provide care to walk-in patients with minor illnesses and injuries. Sacred Heart Medical plans to open two other health clinics in Navarre and Pace within the next two months. The clinics will be open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
