140 names will be added to the Wall South Vietnam War Memorial at the Veterans Memorial Park in Pensacola today. Retired Navy Captain Butch Hansen, president of the Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, said the names of the military members will be etched into the memorial at 3 p.m. this afternoon. The public is invited to attend and watch workers add the names. The names of the service members to be added qualified for a variety of reasons, including the identification of service members who died of physical injuries as a result of combat after the war ended. When the work is done, the 58,315 names on the Wall South will match the names of the Viet Nam Memorial in Washington, D.C.
