Researchers with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, who compile an annual list of county health rankings say Escambia County came in 58th of Florida’s 67 counties. The report looked at a lot of different factors like premature deaths, smoking, obesity, STD infections and unemployment in counties in every state. Santa Rosa County ranked 7th and Okaloosa County came in 11th.
