The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office said a husband and wife died in murder-suicide at a home on Hazel Godwin Road south of Jay. The victims were identified as 55-year old Bobby Waters and his wife, 51-year old Veronica Waters. Their bodies were discovered just outside the front door of the home. Investigators said preliminary information indicated that Bobby Ray Waters was the shooter. The investigation is continuing.
