LAWN MOWER THIEF ARRESTED 4-7-17

A 38-year-old Cantonment man has been charged with stealing over $30,000 worth of mowers and other items from a Highway 29 dealer.

On March 13th, Kingline Equipment reported that someone cut their fence and stole three mowers and a set of ramps. A week later, a Pensacola Police Department detective said a man tried to sell him a high-end mower for a very low price. A check of the serial number indicated it was one of the mowers stolen from Kingline and Christopher Milstead was identified him as the person who sold him the mower. Escambia County Sheriff’s investigators found the second missing mower at Milstead’s residence and he was charged with grand theft, burglary of a structure, and dealing in stolen property and was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $22,500 bond.
