RING THIEF ARRESTED 4-13-17

A Pensacola waiter has been arrested for trying to sell a $2,900 diamond ring, lost by a customer. The 39-year-old Pensacola woman told police she was eating at a local restaurant on April 2nd and believed the ring fell off her hand after she put lotion on her hands. The offer to sell the ring appeared online and Pensacola Police Detectives, posing as a couple, arranged to meet 27-year-old Wesley Dicus who offered to sell them the ring for $2,000. Discus was booked in to the Escambia County Jail on charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
