Pensacola attorney Fred Levin has donated $550,000 to the University of West Florida. The money will be used to establish the Reubin Askew Institute for Multidisciplinary Studies. The university says the new institute will contribute to its efforts in science, technology, engineering, art and math initiatives and will also include partnerships with area schools and businesses, internships and research opportunities.
