FLORIDA CONSTITUTION REVISION COMMISSION

Florida voters may get to decide on how the state’s constitution may be altered in the 2018 general election. The Florida Constitution Revision Commission will consider which proposals receive placement on the November 2018 ballot as constitutional amendments. Over a hundred changes will be considered. If a proposal makes it past the committee stage, the 37-member commission will vote on the measure. Each requires a minimum of 22 votes. The commission must submit their report to the Florida Department of State by May 10th.
