THREATENING LETTER WRITER SENTENCED

A 31-year-old Pensacola man who mailed a threatening letter to Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan has been to three years in prison. Regis Walker pleaded guilty to the charge of mailing threatening communications. In the letter he claimed ISIS would simultaneously attack military bases, beaches and schools and could not be stopped by law enforcement. He signed the note “Isis Allah.” He was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.
