There will be a Pelican Drop in Pensacola this New Year’s Eve after all. Local Businessman Quint Studer will host the family-oriented event at the Blue Wahoos Stadium on Main Street and it will be called Kazoo’s New Year’s Celebration, named for the Wahoos team mascot. It will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with live entertainment, concessions, fireworks as well as the Pelican Drop.
