A Southwest Airlines had to make an emergency landing yesterday morning at Pensacola International Airport. Flight 1539 from Orlando to Houston was diverted to the Pensacola airport when fumes – later linked to a malfunctioning coffee maker – were reported in the back of the aircraft. Emergency medical services crews were on scene as a precaution to assess anyone who may have been affected by the fumes. The flight continued to Houston after it was determined there was no hazard.
