According to the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, research, shows our favorite holiday plant with the red and green foliage, is not nearly as dangerous as many believe. Some people may get a mild rash from touching the plants or experience nausea from chewing or eating the leaves, but they aren’t deadly for humans or pets. That same research showed that 95 percent of the time no medical care was needed at all. So you can stop worrying about Poinsettias this year and concentrate on whether you have been naughty or nice.
