234 bills approved by the Florida Legislature in 2017 and most of the new laws went into effect July 1st, but several took effect January 1st. They include Senate Bill 590, that makes changes in how Florida handles child time-sharing arrangements between unmarried or divorced parents, and Senate Bill 800, that requires health insurers and health maintenance organizations to offer “medication synchronization†to customers at least once a year to allow customers to align refill dates of prescriptions.
