Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford said there is help for those who may need to make partial payments for their 2017 property taxes. Partial payments are accepted for current year taxes from November 1st until March 31st, but property owner must submit an application and there is a ten-dollar processing fee deducted from each partial payment. Partial payments are not accepted after March 31st, and any remaining balance by April 1st will be delinquent and subject to all applicable penalties and fees.
