Gulf World Marine Institute says hundreds of cold-stunned sea turtles were released into the Gulf of Mexico on Saturday after being rehabilitated. The Institute received more than 850 cold-stunned sea turtles from Bay and Gulf counties. A small number of turtles are still being treated for secondary illnesses but will be released once they are medically cleared.
