The Pensacola News Journal is reporting a new Krispy Kreme Doughnuts could be opening on East Nine Mile Road. The company has proposed constructing a 3,500-square-foot restaurant that would include a drive-thru at 1730 East Nine Mile Road, about a mile south of the University of West Florida. A spokeswoman said developers are purchasing four parcels on East Nine Mile Road, two would be used for a Krispy Kreme and the others for a Burger King. The County would have to c approve a zoning change in order for the development to move forward, which could take several months.
