A small chemical explosion in the University of West Florida science lab resulted in the evacuation of the lab yesterday afternoon.after a small chemical explosion. A university spokesperson says it happened around 12:15 p.m. in Building 58, but no injuries were reported. No students were in the lab at the time of the incident. The building re-opened to class at 4:30 p.m.
