SCHOOL BUS DRIVER TICKETED

The Florida Highway Patrol said an Escambia County School District bus driver was ticketed after being found at fault in a minor traffic accident on Old Palafox near Crowl Lane in Gonzalez. Troopers say the school bus driver – 70-year old Vaughn Lowe – turned in front of a car driven by 37-year old Karianna Siple of Pensacola who then collided with the bus. There were no passengers on the bus and neither driver was injured. Lowe was cited for making an improper left turn.
