A Cantonment woman has been arrested for exploitation of an elderly woman with dementia in order to obtain a property in Molino that has been involved in a long-standing family dispute. The property valued at $260,000 once belonged to the parents of 59-year old Fran Rogers and her sister. Rogers and her realtor, went to Sabel House and had the victim signed a quitclaim deed, which was then recorded the next day.
Rogers was charged with exploitation of the elderly, grand theft in excess of $100,000, and unlawful filing of a false document against real or personal property.
