CONSTITUTION REVISION COMMISSION

The Florida Constitution Revision Commission is ready to begin holding public hearings. Five public hearings that will be held across the state by the 37-member commission, which meets every 20 years and has the ability to place constitutional amendments on the 2018 general election ballot. One of those hearings will be in Pensacola. The commission will meet at the University of West Florida from 1-7 p.m. on February 27th. Proposals that make it to the ballot must receive at least 60 percent of the voters to be enacted.
