A 29-year-old Escambia County man was arrested for punching a deputy after a traffic stop in Ensley yesterday. Deputies stopped Joshua Russaw of Pensacola on Highway 29 near Detroit Boulevard, but he fought with a deputy, punching him at last once, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy was not injured. Russaw was booked into the Escambia County Jail on felony charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest with violence.
