Congressman Matt Gaetz hold two roundtables dealing with medical marijuana research. He will be in Milton today at 9:00 a.m. to meet with local pastors in an effort to better understand how medical cannabis research impacts families and the community. At 10:30 a.m. he will go to the University of West Florida to host a second roundtable to hear from local veterans about their thoughts on medical cannabis research as an alternative treatment method. A bill in the U.S. House would reschedule marijuana from a Schedule 1 drug, which includes heroin and LSD, to a Schedule 3 drug, the same as anabolic steroids.
