More details have been released about the indictment of former Panama City Visual Arts Center director Vicki Middlemas for allegedly siphoning money during her tenure as director. She is charged with five counts of wire fraud and four counts of fraud and false statements. According to the indictment, Middlemas stole money by sending the city false invoices for construction work being done to the building and pocketing the money as a bonus or salary. She is also accused of using an Arts Center debit card to rent a vacation property for personal use.
