A committee in the Florida House voted to support a House bill that would allow the sale and use of fireworks in Florida. Since 2007 the number of permanent retail facilities and temporary tent locations for the sale of fireworks have been limited. The House bill also would end the agriculture loophole that allows people to buy fireworks if they sign a form saying the flying and exploding devices will be used to scare birds.
