Fort Walton Beach City officials have set a moving date for the relocation of the 112-year-old Gulfview Hotel. In January 2017, the council accepted the donation of the building from its previous owners, who plan to build their new home on the old hotel’s original site at 12 Miracle Strip Parkway SE after the building is moved. City Manager Michael Beedie said the move is set for April 3rd. City officials plan to pay Marianna-based Ducky Johnson House Movers $149,800 to move the building less than a half-mile to the east.
