NAVAL HOSPITAL CHANGES

The Naval Hospital in Pensacola is changing the services it offers to active duty service members, retirees, and dependents. Beginning in July, the hospital will offer only outpatient services, including same-day surgeries, urgent care, and regular appointments. Hospital admissions will be eliminated. Obstetric services will no longer be provided and expectant mothers will be transferred to civilian providers in the TRICARE network. The hospital will continue to provide primary and specialty care, and laboratory, pharmacy, and radiology services to TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Select beneficiaries.
