Pensacola police there was a miscommunication about a school shooting threat yesterday that resulted in Pensacola State College being unaware that the threat was also directed at the college. Washington High School, Workman Middle School and Holm Elementary School went into lockdown at around noon Tuesday after a student posted a threat on social media that included Pensacola State College, but the college was not notified. Department spokesman officer Mike Wood said the miscommunication was a mistake. A 16-year-old Washington High student was arrested on suspicion of making the threat.
