The State Attorney’s Office says a warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Valparaiso resident for his involvement in a fatal boating accident last year that killed 24-year-old Anthony Jarab. Jackie Mott III, faces charges including boating under the influence-manslaughter, vessel homicide, and violation of navigational rules. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said just after midnight on July 19, 2017, Mott was piloting a 22-foot fishing boat that collided with a channel marker near Crab Island in Choctawhatchee Bay. Jarab was sitting at the bow and was fatally injured. Two other passengers were hurt.
