The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says eight men were arrested for soliciting a child for sex following a five-day operation sting called “Paladin’s Shield”. One of the men is a registered sex offender from Escambia County and two of the suspects were from Milton. The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force started the operation after monitoring smartphone apps and online ads. Undercover officers posed as teenage boys, girls, and even mothers on the online advertisements. Those arrested range in age from 18-67.
