The Florida Department of Environmental Protection says about 2,000 gallons of sewage were released into a creek in Pensacola last Thursday. According to their report a grease blockage caused a manhole to overflow in the 4600 block of Twin Oaks Drive and the discharge from the manhole passed into a flowing creek. DEP estimated about 2,000 gallons were released.
