Florida Governor Rick Scott announced the 11 projects that will qualify for 22 million dollars in awards from the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund. One of those projects will provide 4 million dollars for the Pensacola International Airport to develop additional taxiways, construct ramps and future airport development, including improvements to facilities for education and training for the aviation workforce. The Governor said the projects will help meet infrastructure and workforce training needs across the state in order to promote economic development.
