BAY COUNTY EMBEZZLER ARRESTED

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office says a 63-year-old Panama City woman was arrested after her employer said she stole money from the business. Marcia Avery worked part-time for Panhandle Marine Controls as a bookkeeper and investigators said she had been paying her personal utility and credit card bills with company money, and had taken out a credit card in her employer’s name and using it for personal expenses. She was charged with stealing $47,000 from the company, and fraudulent use of personal information of another person.
