NEW JAIL CONSTRUCTION WORKERS WANTED

Whitesell-Green/Caddell, the construction group who will build the new Escambia County Jail, is seeking to prequalify subcontractors and vendors who want to participate in the construction of the new jail. Interested subcontractors and vendors may meet with project team members from local agencies to discuss employment opportunities for qualified individuals this Wednesday, from 3-6 p.m. at the Brownsville Community Center, 3200 West De Soto Street, in Pensacola. There are openings for many job specialties including landscaping, fencing, concrete and masonary, carpentry, electrical, roofing, painting, and air conditioning.
