The Florida Highway Patrol says a 31-year-old Alabama woman has been charged with DUI manslaughter for a crash last November that killed a 19-year-old man from Gulf Shores, Alabama. Troopers say Katy Colvin, of Loxley, Alabama, was driving a pickup on Michigan Avenue near East Shore Drive when she collided with the car driven by John White. Colvin was seriously injured and White died of his injuries eight days later. Colvin remains in the Escambia County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
