A poll of likely voters, conducted this month by the Tallahassee-based firm Clearview Research, shows Florida Republican Governor Rick Scott holds a small lead over incumbent Democrat Bill Nelson in a potential U.S. Senate race. Scott received 43.3 percent of the support, while Nelson gets 41.3 percent. The difference is within the poll’s margin of error of 3.58 percentage points. While Scott has not announced that he is running for the Senate, he is expected to do so.
