Panama City Police Department Police Chief Scott Ervin confirmed a second off-duty law enforcement officer may have been involved in an incident during which a Panama City Beach Police corporal was arrested for pulling a gun on a man in the parking lot of the Shoppes at Edgewater earlier this month. Sergeant John Wray and Corporal Scott Womack were at the Rock’It Bowling Lanes together in the early morning hours of March 2nd when Wray apparently started a fight with two other men that led to Womack drawing his gun and pointing it at one of the men. Womack was arrested last Thursday and charged with felony aggravated assault and was released on a $10,000 bond. No charges have been brought against Wray, but the investigation is continuing.
