The Florida Highway Patrol says a 34-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Monday night on East Kingsfield Road near Majestic Drive. Troopers say Jason Strother, age of Cantonment, was walking east on East Kingsfileld was he was hit by a car driven by 41-year old Patrick Bell of Cantonment about 9:15 p.m., according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Strother was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges have yet been filed.
