Two teenagers who escaped from a juvenile facility in Okaloosa County were captured the same day. Authorities say 13-year-old Nikolas Shoffner, and 15-year-old Richard Abenojar, ran into the nearby woods around 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. Staff members caught Abenojar soon after. Shoffner was apprehended in a McDonald’s on South Ferndon Boulevard in Crestview some hours later. Both were charged with escape, but Shoffner may face additional charges.
